Eurazeo is proud to exhibit the work of its last two Photo Prize laureates for the first time in Arles.
Giulio di Sturco (2023) and Patrick Tourneboeuf (2022) will be showcased
from 3rd to 10th July 2023
at Galerie La Belle Etoile, 7 Rue des Pénitents Bleus, Arles.
This exhibition marks a new milestone in Eurazeo's support for photography and will contribute to promoting the Eurazeo Prize more widely, establishing it as a lasting presence in the international, cultural, and artistic landscape. It complements the partnerships established in 2019 with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Photographie (ENSP) and since 2022 with the "Rencontres d'Arles".
Eurazeo has been supporting the world of photography for many years. The Group boasts a remarkable collection of works by world-renowned photographers such as Sebastião Salgado, Georges Rousse, Nick Brandt, Mickael Kenna, to which the works of the Photo Prize laureates are added every year. Today, the collection comprises nearly 100 photographic works, exhibited at Eurazeo's offices in Paris, New York, and London.
Furthermore, since 2019, Eurazeo has been supporting young graduates from ENSP by awarding them scholarships that contribute to the realization of innovative projects that would have been difficult to achieve without this financial support. These projects were exhibited in Paris (Hôtel de l'Industrie, 4 Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 75006) last March.
Since 2022, Eurazeo has also been supporting the "Rencontres d'Arles" through the program "Une Année en Images" which offers educational activities related to the festival's themes during school time. This inclusive program targets school students from ten institutions in the Aix-Marseille and Nice academies. Its main objective is to develop their critical perspective on the complex world around them by providing them with essential tools for analysis and understanding.
Eurazeo also announces the launch of the 14th edition of its Photo Prize, which has been rewarding the work of professional photographers since 2010 with a €10,000 prize and the exhibition of the winning works.
The theme for the 2023 edition is: "Tell us stories."
