Tim P. Jungblut, PhD

Tim Jungblut joined Eurazeo in 2013 as Venture Partner. Specializing in German-speaking markets, Tim draws on more than 25 years' international experience in B2B business at industrial corporations, research organizations, financial institutions and venture capital funds. His primary focus is on high-growth areas like new energy, smart mobility, logistics, real estate / proptech, industrial tech and digital technologies as well as digital transformation.

He served as Head of Projects, Vice President, at Siemens' Energy Sector, with global responsibility for the project business in the area of photovoltaics. He previously headed up the Ground Mounted Systems business unit as Vice President at Gehrlicher Solar and held a number of management positions in corporate and investment banking at UniCredit and HypoVereinsbank (HVB). In particular, he was Head of Strategy and Business Development (Mid Corporates and Public Sector) as well as Managing Director of the venture capital fund HVB Life Science. Prior to that, Tim held various positions at Swiss Re, Mercer Management Consulting, EUREKA and GSF - the National Research Center for Environment and Health.

Tim studied chemistry and environmental chemistry at Bonn, Edinburgh and Freiburg universities and has a PhD in natural sciences from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. He has received a number of awards and scholarships for his doctoral thesis and scientific research. Tim also studied business administration and finance at the University of St. Gallen (IfB), UniManagement and INSEAD. He was certified by Deutsche Börse as a qualified supervisory board member.
