Eric Sondag

Eric is Co-Head of the MLBO division. He joined Eurazeo as a Managing Director based in New York City. Eric will be responsible for driving new investment opportunities and strengthening Eurazeo’s reputation in North America. Eric is as a proven private equity leader with over 20 years of transatlantic investment and M&A experience across key verticals including media, communications and tech-enabled business and consumer services.

Prior to joining Eurazeo, Eric spent nearly 10-years as a Partner at Searchlight Capital Partners, where he played a key role in leading various organizational development initiatives and executing numerous transactions across priority verticals. Prior to Searchlight, Eric spent over 7 years as a senior member of the investment team at GTCR, a growth buyout firm where he oversaw investments within the TMT landscape. He began his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he became Vice President of M&A, managing and coordinating global M&A transactions.

Eric graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance (major) and Economics (minor). Eric also studied at Oxford University in England as part of his undergraduate program. Eric also completed a Corporate Executive MBA program at INSEAD Business School.
